Southeast Severe Weather Research Symposium
Feb 10 – Feb 11 2026 hosted by the SSRC at the GTRI Conference Center
Agenda: Coming soon
Join us in Atlanta for the first annual southeast regional Severe Weather Research Symposium that will serve as a focal point for the severe weather and related research being conducted across our region. We aim to bring together researchers at our local regional institutions and all career stages to showcase their excellent work and build new collaborations across our interconnected disciplines in the severe weather enterprise.
There will be no registration fee for the symposium. Registration is now open!
Session Format
The symposium will consist of two days of primarily oral talks. Participants should anticipate a 15-minute time slot that includes time for questions following the presentation. Depending on the number of submitted abstracts by topic, we may host concurrent sessions in each of our rooms or designate poster sessions for individual topics.
